Every steel vessel bends the Earth's magnetic field its own way, and that deviation changes with cargo, structure and time. Our compass adjusters perform installation, alignment, magnetic compensation and swinging, then issue a fresh deviation card your bridge team can actually trust.
We attend at berth, anchorage or during sea trials, and combine compass adjustment with other survey work to save attendance costs.

Our process
Book the swing
Tell us the port, berth/anchorage and preferred date, we coordinate with agents and pilots where needed.
Compensate & swing
Adjuster corrects hard and soft iron effects, then swings the vessel through all headings to record residual deviations.
Deviation card issued
A new deviation card and adjustment report are issued on completion, accepted by class and PSC.
Periodic checks
We remind you when the next verification is due, and offer bundled rates within our maintenance programs.
