Which GPS models do you recommend for SOLAS vessels?+

Type-approved navigators from Furuno (GP-series), JRC (JLR-series), Samyung (SGN-series) and Koden are our standard recommendations, final choice depends on your bridge fit and budget. We quote options side by side.

Can you replace a failed GPS on short notice?+

Usually yes, we hold common models in stock, including tested refurbished units, and can install during a normal port stay at Gujarat ports.

Do you interface the GPS with existing equipment?+

Yes: NMEA/IEC interfacing with ECDIS, radar, AIS, VDR, autopilot and GMDSS position input is part of every installation, verified end-to-end before handover.

Is annual testing required for GPS?+

GPS is checked as part of navigation equipment surveys and the radio survey (as GMDSS position source). We verify position accuracy, outputs and antenna condition during attendance.
